Festival trail rules

The participation process below reflects the festival plan. Full competition terms, eligibility, prize details and winner timing still require Southend City BID’s approval before public prize draw entry opens.

The Southend Food & Drink Festival runs from Friday 23 October to Sunday 1 November 2026.

How the passport works

After redeeming a festival offer, ask the venue team for their QR code and scan it. Create a free digital passport with a valid email address once, then collect stamps as you explore. Three different valid venue stamps create one prize draw entry automatically, with no separate entry form. A repeat scan at the same venue does not add another stamp.

The passport is optional

You can redeem participating businesses’ festival offers without creating a passport or entering the prize draw. Each offer remains subject to the conditions shown by the venue.

Stamp verification

Staff share the venue QR code after an offer has been redeemed. Older printed codes may also require a staff validation PIN. Invalid or duplicate attempts do not count towards an entry.

Competition details

The organiser will confirm the full prize list, eligibility, entry closing time, winner selection and notification arrangements in the approved competition terms.
